So, it's the end of the month and that means another wrap-up!
Wrap-ups are very long posts and they always take a long time to write so that is why the last few months haven't been wrapped up as I didn't have enough time to sit down and write them.
January was a pretty good month overall. I hung out with friends a couple times this month which is something I want to do a lot more of and I had a good reading month. I didn't really do any writing of my WIPs which was unfortunate but I will be getting to that as soon as I can.
I did read a lot which was great and I am doing well with my TBR pile. Also, I only have two more library books to read in the month of February!! And my NetGalley ratio is at 80% for the first time ever!

Anyways...
Time to talk about the books I read this month.
PHYSICAL BOOKS
The first physical book I read was The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee which I absoloutely loved. All the characters are hilarious and I loved them a lot. I also liked all the trouble they got into along their Grand Tour. If you don't know, this book is about Percy, Monty and Felicity who are going on a Grand Tour of Europe before they all have to go off to their separate adult lives. This is full of hilarity, mishaps and danger. I rated it 5 Crowns.
The second physical book I read was A Line in the Dark by Malinda Lo. This is a psychological thriller but it wasn't as good as I expected. It features a LGBT main character and side characters but the story was a little boring and confusing. I ended up only rating it 3.5 Crowns.
The third physical book I read was The Traitor's Kiss by Erin Beaty. This book was so good and I went into it completely blind and not really expecting anything. I ended up loving it. I loved the plot and the characters. Even though Sage wasn't really a badass character, she was very strong and was a wonderful protagonist. I ended up rating it 4 Crowns.
The fourth physical book I read was Enemy Exposure by Meghan Rogers. I really didn't remember the first book when I started this one but it all came back to me. I really love this whole premise and the main character. The first book was about Jocelyn who escaped from North Korea where she was being used as an agent to gather intel on other places. This series is very action-packed and I love it a lot. I rated this book 5 Crowns.
The fifth physical book I read was The Wish Granter by C.J. Redwine. This is the second book in the Ravenspire series. I really enjoyed the first book and I don't know why I waited so long to read this one. This is a Rumpelstiltskin retelling which I haven't read many of so it was very interesting to see how the author spun the tale. I rated this book 4 Crowns.
The sixth physical book I read was That Inevitable Victorian Thing by E.K. Johnston. I have read quite a few of her books and I've generally enjoyed them. I have wanted to read this one for a few months but I didn't really know much of what it was about. This is set in the future where a Victoria is reigning Britain and the daughter comes to Canada for a vacation. It is very interesting and I did not expect there to be so much diverse representation. I rated it 3.5 Crowns.
The seventh physical book I read was The Death Cure by James Dashner. I had never bothered reading this one because I didn't know when the last movie would come out. Now that it has, I decided to read this one and I enjoyed it but not as much as the previous enstallments. I felt like some of the characters didn't deserve things that happened to them. And now that James Dashner has been accused of sexual assault, I'm a little concerned about how I rated it. I rated it 4 Crowns.
ARC'S READ
The first ARC I read was Reign the Earth by A.C. Gaughen. This was one of my very highly anticipated books for 2018 and I am so glad I got an eARC of it early. I ended up really enjoying this book. I loved the main character, Shalia and how strong she was throughout the book despite the terrible things happening to her throughout. I loved how she stayed strong and kept fighting. I have a full review of this book and I rated it 4 Crowns.
The second ARC I read was The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton. I also had this on my highly anticipated books list and I am so happy that I loved it. It was very interesting and I loved the whole concept and storyline. I did write a full review on this one as well which I will link under my reviews. I rated this one 5 Crowns.
